A man on a bulldozer went on a rampage in the Gordon Heights section of Coram Monday night.
Witnesses say the man was speeding down Norfleet Lane and Homestead Drive on the pay-loader. According to witnesses, the man hit trees, parked cars and power poles. One witness says he almost hit some children on the sidewalk. No one was injured in the incident. There were some power outages due to the downed poles.
The man is in custody and is being questioned. Police say no arrests have been made. So far, there is no motive behind the rampage. However, one witness believes the man may have had a grudge against LIPA.
