The man who was shot was taken to Kings County and is now in stable condition.

Police say the man they opened fire on is 22-year-old Edynesson Bauday.

Bauday is a two-time convicted felon who was on parole until 2030.

Bauday was arrested in 2021 at 18 years old. He was released from custody before being arrested again for violent commercial robbery, in which he was sentenced for that crime. He was released on June 10.
