A Baldwin man is facing charges for a deadly college house party shooting that occurred in Hempstead, according to the Nassau County District Attorney.

Officials say Jacob McMillan fired three shots after refusing to be searched before entering the party in November.

One of those bullets struck and killed 19-year-old Amira Mcleod, a basketball player at Monroe University.

Two other Nassau Community College students were also injured.

McMillan has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
