Man drowns at Indian Island County Park

Police are investigating the drowning death of a man that occurred at Indian Island County Park on Tuesday. 
Police responded to Indian Island County Park located off of Route 105 after a caller reported that a man had been pulled from the beach that runs along the Peconic River at approximately 5:20 p.m. 
Beachgoers initiated CPR on Brian Nolan, 20, of Glen Cove. Police say Nolan was transported by Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead.
The incident does not appear to be criminal in nature. The investigation is continuing.
