A man is dead after a construction accident in Baldwin on Wednesday.
The victim was crushed between a tractor-trailer and a forklift, Nassau police say.
He was unloading pallets of building material at a work site on Grand Avenue, according to police.
The man, who has yet to be identified, was taken to an area hospital where he died.
The Nassau Homicide Squad and OSHA are investigating.
