A man has been arrested for burglarizing a home in Nassau County Tuesday morning.
Muneshwer Udit, 53, of Valley Stream, unlawfully entered a Valley Stream residence around 9 a.m., according to police.
Once inside, detectives say Udit took assorted items before fleeing the scene.
The specific street where the house is located was not released by police.
Following an extensive investigation, he was located and placed under arrest without incident.
Udit will face charges of burglary and criminal mischief when he is arraigned on Wednesday.
