An East Hampton man is facing numerous charges after an argument took a violent turn inside a pizzeria on Saturday, according to police.

Authorities say Daniel Garduno entered a verbal dispute with the victim just before noon at Pepperoni’s Pizza on Springs Fireplace Road.

The victim reported that Garduno went on to strike him over the head with a glass wine bottle.

Officers arrested the 28-year-old after investigating the scene.

The charges against him include assault, intent to cause physical injury with a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say he was held at East Hampton Town Police Department Headquarters and scheduled to be arraigned sometime today.
