Man accused of shooting Suffolk officer found guilty

A man accused of shooting a Suffolk County police officer has been found guilty.  Sheldon Leftenant, of Huntington Station, was found guilty on all charges yesterday evening, including attempted murder.

A man accused of shooting a Suffolk County police officer has been found guilty. 
Sheldon Leftenant, of Huntington Station, was found guilty on all charges yesterday evening, including attempted murder. 
As News 12 has reported, Officer Mark Collins was shot during a traffic stop last year.
Collins testified against Leftenant who now faces 40-years-to-life in prison when sentenced.
