An Italian eatery in Nassau County is closing its doors for good.

Maggiano’s Little Italy in Garden City filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the NYS Department of Labor at the end of June.

The restaurant, at 600 Garden City Plaza, next to Roosevelt Field Mall, is part of a national chain with dozens of locations across the country.

According to the WARN notice posted by the state on Tuesday, 57 workers will be laid off as a result of the closure.

Brinker International, which owns Maggiano’s, cited ‘economic expiration of lease’ as the reason for the layoffs.

The closure date listed in the state filing is Sept. 28.

The location has been open since 2015.
