One Patchogue woman likes picking flowers and making customized bouquets. Rebecca Brignoni started 'Perla Fleur' about 2 years ago. She creates bouquets and other floral arrangements for special events.

“I learned by working in that environment. My first floral job was wrapping boutiques," said Rebecca. “I wanted to shake things up a little in the floral industry. I wanted to do a more organic and freestyle where more traditional style.”

Rebecca mainly picks her flowers from local wholesalers and occasionally will take a drive out to Riverhead and will pick her own.

She travels around the tristate area to deliver flowers for her brides. When she receives a big order, her family will help her. Never did Rebecca think she would have a business of her own, following her passion to work with flowers. “I would love to have my own shop with a little garden and a coffee shop where we bake fresh pastries where people can sit enjoy and be in nature.”

You can learn more about Rebecca's business on her website or her Instagram page.
