Made on Long Island: Foster-Gordon Manufacturing Company in Bohemia
It's a local company that makes personalized autograph books and diploma covers.
Foster-Gordon Manufacturing Company is a family-owned and operated business, and with graduation season underway they're working around the clock.
News 12’s Jenn Seelig takes you inside their Bohemia facility for this week's Made on Long Island.
"We're proud to be able to provide kids with the diploma cover and to protect that certificate that they work so hard for," says owner and President Lauren Gordon.
The company has been manufacturing diploma covers and autograph books since 1967. The covers and books are custom made from start to finish. Danny Gordon is the grandson of Bob and Alberta Foster Gordon. The couple founded this business over five decades ago. And it's been passed down to the mother and son duo! The company ships diploma covers all over the United States.
The covers are made with high-quality materials and Danny wants to leave a lasting impression on the family business.
"It's rewarding carrying on the family tradition. It's a 24/7 job, I bring my work home with me. It's stressful but I wouldn't have it any other way," says President of Operations Danny Gordon.
