One Suffolk woman is uncorking creativity, showing off her artistic skills. Elizabeth Marasak paints masterpieces on wine and other liquor bottles.
After her 9-5, Elizabeth usually has a paintbrush in hand. "I’ve always enjoyed painting, art, and photography, and as I’ve gotten older, I began a desk job; I was just looking for a creative outlet," said Elizabeth.
She started the business two years ago at her Brookhaven home. "I started around Christmas time about two years ago. I was painting gifts for my friends and family."
She created an Instagram page for the business, and it took off from there.
She gets her supplies from a local liquor store and East End wineries. "Sannino Vineyards, Loughlin, Pindar, Long Island Vodka, and Better Man Distilling have all provided us with bottles to sell. It’s been great connecting with all those local businesses," said Elizabeth.
If you are interested in a custom order, you can send Elizabeth a message on Instagram.
