Emily Reynolds of Massapequa has always loved baking and has turned her passion into a career. In 2021, she opened her small-batch bakery, 'Baked by Emily Rose,' in Massapequa.
"It is so cool to stay in my hometown and share with the community. I see a lot of familiar faces, and it's a lot of fun," said Emily. She bakes her favorite treats using her grandma's recipes and works alongside her sister Toni and cake decorator Crista.
"I grew up in an Italian household where food was the main focus," said Emily. Emily has been baking cookies, brownies, and cakes for Long Islanders—and the rest of the country! She has shipped her products to all 50 states.
Emily says everything is baked fresh, and it's all served with purpose. Emily likes to give back to the community. "It's hard as a small business to give back, but it's my proudest moment to give back. It feels right to me to be able to do that because the community is what keeps us going and growing."
