Marni Butchkoski of Kings Park has turned her passion for art into a full-time job. She created her own business called "Art by Mani B." She paints local seashells for birthday gifts, and then people across the country have been requesting orders for her custom-made artwork. She has painted thousands of shells.

Mani also paints murals! The Kings Park mom left her career as a social worker to pursue her dreams as an artist in 2020. She created the business in memory of her brother, Marc. "I don't take anything for granted. And it's all because of him," said Marni. Marc was always surfing on the South Shore, until he was suddenly diagnosed with cancer.

Since his passing, Marni has been using her artistic talents to build her brand - while honoring her brother's legacy. "And I would give it back in a second - to have him."
