3ds agoThe MacArthur High School class of 1988 honored one of their own Wednesday with a new scholarship named in his honor.
Michael Flanagan was class president 35 years ago and has been keeping his peers together ever since.
His former classmates surprised him by creating a new scholarship in his name for Excellence in Leadership.
The annual award will be awarded for the first time this spring. It will be funded with contributions by Flanagan's peers.
