Crews have been working for weeks to prepare Nassau County’s biggest walk-through winter light show, the LuminoCity Holiday Festival.
This year's Pure Magic theme will illuminate 17 acres of Eisenhower Park with various colors and lights on large art displays.
"This is a great opportunity for the local families and their kids to open their minds," says LuminoCity founder Xiaoyi Chen.
You can expect to see a little bit of everything at the park, from your favorite zoo animals to your favorite films like “Alice in Wonderland."
"It's one of the exciting events that we love to have in Nassau County,” says Darcy Belyea, the commissioner of Nassau County Parks.
The event will open Nov. 9 and run through Jan. 8 next year. It will be open rain or shine — or even snow.
The event was held in Manhasset last year, but organizers promise it will be bigger this year.
