Long Islanders prepared for this weekend's upcoming nor'easter by stocking up on food and snow shovels Thursday.
"The more milk, the better," said Danielle Wilson, who was shopping at the King Kullen supermarket in Massapequa Park. "I'd rather have to stock up and have it, please, God forbid, you lose power, and then it's all gone."
The bread shelves were almost empty by the time News 12 cameras arrived.
And at Costello's Ace Hardware down the road, shoppers had a wide selection of snow shovels, ice picks and gloves to choose from.
