If you are looking for a meal deal, Long Island Winter
Restaurant Week is underway! For the first time, the three-course prix fixe
menu for $25, $35 or $42 is available for dine in or takeout.
Today, News 12 highlights restaurants in Nassau County:
Eric's Italian Bistro in Mineola is already dressed up for
Valentine's Day. For starters, you can try their fresh mozzarella and vine ripe
tomatoes. Main course options include boneless chicken scarpariello with Eric
and grandma's lasagna.
Now to a Rockville Centre mainstay,
George Martin The
Original. Try nana's meatballs as an appetizer on their Winter Restaurant Week
menu. Entrees include apple cider glazed Berskshire pork chop and chicken
burrata Parmingiana. For something sweet, they have a brownie sundae for
dessert.
And there's so much to choose from at
Revel in Garden City.
For your first course you can try crispy eggplant chips, roasted Brussel
sprouts or flash fried calamari. Second course dishes include chicken
scarpariello. If you like roasted butternut squash, try their tagliatelle
tabiano. For seafood lovers, they have bucatini ala shrimp scampi. And indulge
in tiramisu for dessert.
If you are in the mood for Italian tapas, check out
Spuntino
in Garden City. Their Winter Restaurant Week menu includes local burrata, pane
fritto prosciutto, funghi risotto and pork ribs.
Long Island Winter Restaurant Week runs through Sunday. Over
65 restaurants across Long Island are participating.
