Long Island towns prep for wet start to the weekend

The Town of Huntington says it already has placed pumps in flood-prone areas and crews will be on standby.

Nassau and Suffolk County towns are preparing for a weekend storm that is expected to hit parts of Long Island with heavy rain and strong winds.
Town of Hempstead crews were out on the Nautical Mile in Freeport Friday to clear out drains to ease potential flooding.
The Town of Huntington says it already has placed pumps in flood-prone areas and crews will be on standby.
Town officials are asking everyone to stay off the roads on Saturday if possible.
