High school students from across Long Island took home scholarships on Sunday for their dedication to music and performing arts.

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships.

The Hall of Fame's education committee judged the student-submitted applications.

A record number of applications were submitted this year.
