The remnants of Debby left Long Island mostly unscathed, though high winds did bring down trees and power lines in some areas.
Crews responded to downed wires in Locust Valley and Glen Head.
A tree fell on a home in Sands Point. A child was struck in the head by a branch. Officials say the child was stable and alert.
Roslyn Rescue Chief Ronnie Collura says his department responded to at least 10 storm-related calls.
