You can support Long Island restaurants while getting a great dining deal this week. It's the Spring Long Island Restaurant Week!
Here are some of the restaurants offering deals:
Juniper at the Vanderbilt in Westbury has a three-course menu for $42. For starters try their red carrot hummus. And as an entree, the grilled sirloin steak is a favorite.
Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas offers fried dough wrapped with prosciutto and many other great options on their $35 restaurant week menu. You can also add a flight of wine for an additional $20.
And if you're in the mood for traditional Italian, visit Maggiano's Little Italy in Garden City. Their famous meatballs are on the menu. Try the beef medallions as an entrée for dinner or lunch. Also on the $20 two-course lunch menu is their famous rigatoni D with chicken and mushrooms with a marsala cream sauce. A three-course dinner is $25 and includes dessert!
Long Island Restaurant Week runs through Sunday. The three courses costs $25, $35 or $42. Many restaurants also offer a $20 two-course lunch. For the full list click here.
