Long Island musician offers personalized Mother’s Day videos, concert to benefit COVID relief
One Long Island musician is looking to make this Mother’s Day special despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Bobby Digital is planning a special two-pronged fundraiser to help benefit Southside Hospital’s COVID-19 fund.
Bobby Digital is giving people the opportunity to have them pick a favorite song of theirs for him to perform as a special and personal Mother’s Day gift.
“This is a way to bring some joy into your mom’s life at a time when you might not be able to give her that hug in person that she deserves more than ever,” says Bobby. “I want to raise money that is going to go to people in our community.”
He is offering fans a list of dozens of songs that he can record, along with a personal Mother’s Day message.
In addition to the personalized videos, Bobby Digital will also perform a one-hour livestream from his home on Mother’s Day.
He says 100% of the “virtual tip jar” will go to Southside’s COVID-19 relief fund.
Requests can be made on Instagram or Facebook. The cost for the personal Mother’s Day message is $35. He says 25% of proceeds from the personalized videos will be donated to the Southside Hospital COVID-19 Fund.
