'It was worth everything': Man saves his brother's life by donating his kidney

A Long Island man helped save his brother's life by giving him a kidney.
Lee Silverstone says his brother Alan broke the devastating news to him while he was visiting him out of state. His brother told him that he was suffering from kidney failure.
Silverstone says after about two or three weeks he called his brother to tell him that he wanted to be his kidney donor. He says it was the first time that his brother actually showed emotion.
The procedure took about five hours and went smoothly.
Silverstone says saving his brother's life was worth everything. The experience brought the two closer together.
Silverstone says he's happy to see his brother back out there living a life.
