The CEO of the Long Island Ducks plans to step down from his role as the chair of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

After 27 seasons, Frank Boulton announced that he is beginning his transition to member-at-large of the league’s executive committee.

He will continue to serve as CEO for the Ducks.

Boulton says he feels it is time for new voices to guide the league.

York Revolution owner William Shipley will take over as the league chair.
