There were plenty of Fourth of July activities to choose from on Long Island today.

The annual Port Jefferson Fourth of July parade kicked off at 10 a.m. The parade headed down Main Street to Barnum Avenue and featured marching bands and floats.

Massapequa Park's Independence Day Parade began at 11 a.m. The parade moved down Park Boulevard toward Front Street.

Last night, the town started celebrating early with an annual fireworks show.
