Long Island Cares say the number of people struggling with food insecurity on Long Island has increased by 30%.
Anthony Vignola, of Huntington Station, is one of them. He told News 12, “Things are so tough. You work your whole life, then as you get older, you get less money coming in…” He said having access to food from Long Island Cares “means everything.”
