Heavy rain causes flooding in Glen Cove neighborhood
22h agoLong Island is expected to experience dangerous heat and humidity this week with feels-like temperatures reaching almost 100 degrees.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Long Island through 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Glen Cove Hospital Chief of Dermatology Dr. Raman Madan urged Long Islanders to reapply sunscreen every time they get out of the water, saying that even one sunburn could increase the risk for skin cancer.
