That should be under the current tree. That would be fantastic. Now, I know the hidden hat to take, to take the holiday. Cheer on the road. All right, let's see where this forecast is going as we head to the overnight. Listen, we've got temperatures that are already on the chillier side. Wind chills are in the low and middle twenties. Right now. The winds are letting up but the cold is still with us. We've got, you know, overnight lows dropping down again into the low and middle twenties. I think this is where we're going to keep them as we head into the overnight hours. Morris County. Your wind chills right now. It's not 30. Feels like in boot. Feels like 28 in Parsippany. Denville feels like 27. Hanover feels like 28 Madison right now at about 26 flanders and Chesters around 26 Bud Lakes coming in at around 26 as well. All that under mainly clear skies, but there is that slight breeze that makes it feel a little chillier. So the temperatures will go from the thirties down into the twenties. Now, as this cold air begins to retreat. Back up towards Canada. We have another storm system that's coming up from the Gulf of Mexico and this is going to bring with it some rain showers Friday going into very early Saturday. I don't think the start of the weekend is going to be a washout. But the second half of the weekend looks to feature another system that could be offshore that might try to wrap in a little bit more wet weather on Sunday. Some like enhance snow showers out towards the Catskills. None of that is making it towards New Jersey. It's a clear to a partly cloudy sky right now. Temperatures are on the chillier side, but as I mentioned that colder air is beginning to retreat back up towards the north. We'll start to see milder temperatures winning out over time. So again, what we're going to be looking at is this bitter chill that we've been dealing with over the last couple of days that's now beginning to move away from the area and we're starting to see a better forecast coming in as we head towards the upcoming weekend, a warmer forecast, we do have some wet weather to deal with Friday Sunday. It could also be showery going into Monday and temperatures cooling off early next week. More details on the forecast coming right up. Thanks.

Gifting happening right now. We had the Rockefeller Tree lighting. I hope I feel like we are officially officially in the holiday season. Now, you know, after Thanksgiving, it's basically Mariah Carey season. So Thanksgiving was great and now we're counting down to some holidays coming up. So Hanukkah eight days away, Thursday, December 7th Christmas 26 days away on Monday, December 25th and New Year's Day, 33 days away on Monday, January 1st. So that's something that we can look forward to as well as these temperatures going back up one more cold night. And then we see the temperatures recovering into the upper forties, low fifties, even taking us into the weekend and beyond. But it does come with some wet weather that is going to start pushing through our area Friday afternoon and even into the evening, catching a break on Saturday before more wet weather moves into our area Sunday into Monday. So let's time it out on your futurecast tomorrow. A beautiful day, sunshine all day long clouds start to move in for the second half of the day and that is ahead of the storm system that is going to give us some rain. It is going to start pushing through our area after three P ma few scattered showers could be steady at times then out of here 7:08 p.m. no need to concern yourself about again. It is just going to be a fast moving storm. In terms of Saturday, it is going to start off with a little bit of sunshine before some clouds filter. It still going to remain dry, limited sunshine but temperatures low to mid 50 s after that, we're tracking some wet weather for Sunday night into Monday. But look at those temperatures. All right. Addison Green joins us now and uh, we're in for a little bit of a bitter blast but, uh, temperatures ticking up, ticking up. Yeah, we want to go in a positive direction, Joe, because we're tired of dealing with this like plummet in the temperature department. That's why I've been talking about this. A little bitter blast. Think of like a little sampler for winter days to come. Thankfully, we're not there yet. But as you move on in throughout the overnight hours, so you're taking out the garbage, the recycling bins out towards the curb, just grab that thick layer, you'll need it and even for tomorrow morning as well. But tomorrow afternoon, we are getting a little bit better for Friday into Sunday. We will enjoy milder temperatures back to where we should be this time of the year. Unfortunately, though there are rain chances along the way. Looking forward in towards the early portion of December, you can see right there, the fifth 11th there is warmth in sight, just nowhere near us. We're going to be seeing our temperatures out there across the Hudson Valley more times than not trending colder than the average high of 45 degrees. So if it didn't get that thick layer out during the, this little stint of cold temperatures, you'll probably have to do so sooner rather than later. But the cold breezy air started to get pushed away from us. Mild air is billy up from the south and west and that's what the high pressure is gonna do for the day tomorrow and make it feel a little bit better out. And about so 10 o'clock tonight, Kingston's 31 degrees feels like 23 same thing in the Newburg area as well. Yonkers, 32 feels like 25 in towards tomorrow morning. Yorktown Heights. You'll wake up to a feeling temperature of 24 feels about 21 degrees in Middletown. Then by the afternoon hours, as you can see just shy of three o'clock grabbing the kids from the bus stop, it feels about 41 degrees in the new city. Certainly much better than how it has felt in the past two days. As you move forward past Thursday into Friday, we will enjoy fair skies out there of high pressure just offshore, but down towards the south and west, there is a storm system pushing up from the southern plains. It'll head our way going through the day on Friday. So by Friday morning, we're going from mostly sunny through Friday afternoon, turning cloudy showers arrive during the five o'clock rush. So if you happen to have a chance to work from home. Probably want to do so for Friday. So that way you don't have to drive and potentially a little bit of a mess out there by Friday night, 10 o'clock, it's gone. Saturday will be nice and quiet, mostly cloudy skies. Then another system heads over this way as we go in towards Sunday, more or less just on and off scattered showers coming on in, not talking about a wash out of a day, but we do see a few rain chances lingering Joe for early portions of next week.

I haven't heard that. I had a great grandmother. Yeah, Pepsi and peanuts and eat what you want and be happy and enjoy the weather. That's right and get outside and eat outside. Tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day. I see the headline right there. I know after a cold spell we have a nice little warm up ahead even through the weekend. And this weekend it will be the unofficial start to winter. It's meteorological winter which begins on December 1st. So, uh winter is right around the corner here. We are also tracking a couple of rain showers. First batch will come in Friday then late Sunday and early next week. So the weather is turning a little bit unsettled as we get out of this cold spell tomorrow morning, it is calm and cold 29 degrees, but we are getting up to 48 in the afternoon. It's a pretty big difference and you'll feel it. It's going to be just a beautiful day and that sunshine is going to be great, mostly clear right now. No problems around just zooming out to show you the big picture. We don't have any big storms coming, there is an area of low pressure all the way down by Texas and that's going to head our way into the weekend and that will bring us some of those showers. So tonight, mostly clear at 6 a.m. 30 Glen Cove 26 in Hampton Bays. There's the forties in the afternoon, so it is going to feel warmer. It's a seasonable beautiful day. A little bit of a late day breeze out of the Southwest Friday morning does start off with some sunshine, but the clouds will be moving in ahead of a front and rain will get here late in the day. After four o'clock, we have just a couple of light scattered. It doesn't really look like we're going to get much from this front and it is going to move through quickly. So by midnight, the rain is gone and it's a dry start to the weekend. We noticed some extra clouds around Saturday before showers return late Sunday. So there is that showery weather and some of the rain could last through Monday. It gets breezy after that. A little bit cooler and a dry stretch ahead as we head into the start of Hanukkah. You're going to be telling us about a warm up. Temperatures are turning around. Now, this happens after tomorrow morning. So by tomorrow afternoon, you'll definitely feel the difference. But we have one more really cold start with temperatures in the twenties, feels like temps in the twenties as well. A little bit of improvement compared to the teens that it felt like early this morning, but Friday is better. And so it's Saturday. Saturday is going to feel a lot warmer, but at the same time, we're going to be tracking some rain on top of all this. So as we take a look at the first forecast for Thursday, it's a lot milder in the afternoon. You can enjoy being outdoors again with temperatures up in the forties walking. The dog won't be so much of a chore outside anymore. Now, it feels like temperatures for the morning will be chilly and it's been chilly all evening long. It's been feeling like it's in the twenties out there at this point. Hopefully, we know how to dress and how to navigate this weather. The winds are not that bad. In fact, they will continue to come down. So by the morning it's cold. Yes. But it won't be as harsh and the temperatures quickly turn around.

Live Life Better: Eco-friendly changes you can make in your bathroom to help save the planet

There are many things that we can do to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. We can eliminate plastic waste recycle, of course, reduce our energy use. Yeah. But did you know that there are things that you can do in your bathroom? Yes, your bathroom that will also help save the planet. Our friend editor in chief of Naturally Danny. The magazine is here with five things that we can all do to make our bathrooms more eco friendly. Danny. It is so good to have. I'm so relieved. I'm not doing the app. I was like, no, not me and you have a toilet bowl. Yes. These are all things that we can be more eco friendly and more mindful in the bathroom. And this is something that's really interesting because a toilet seat. Do you know how many times you just to replace your toilet seat? How every couple of years do you know what the year is? What is it? What do you guys take a 57? Wow, you are right. Thank you. Ok. So about every five years you're supposed to replace your toilet seat. But it's really if it's breaking if it's off kilter if it's splintering, you know, so about 40 million tons of plastic from the toilet seat industry usually ends up in landfills, which is kind of crazy because you think about the number of toilets in the United States. So Bemus is like the leader now that I've said beam, as they're gonna be seeing this beam as everywhere on seeds. What they have is a new product coming out right now. We love this at the magazine made entirely out of recycled plastic. So they're taking a commitment of diverting industrial plastic waste out of the landfills and actually making brand new hygienic beautiful simple toilet seats. So that's great to know is Ely option. So think about recycling and continuing with that recycling theme. Um This is a beautiful tile collection from an SA and an SA um is basically like look at this gorgeous colors. It's a really nice color. An A is like a luxury tile division um from the Ker Corporation and what Ker has done, they've created something called waste lab where they're also diverting waste. That's through their production process of making klar products. Like they make SKs and toilets and all these different things and they actually sort of throwing it away. They make these beautiful, gorgeous tiles of different colors, patterns and shapes um all out of recycled materials and I love it. They come in not only different colors, but you have all of these different designs on them as Well, so usually it's just a little flare. Yeah. You know, you know what? So funny though, as a design editor, this one's actually my favorite, the white, black, white plain because then you can add pops of color and really just change it all the time. I won't even do that. Ok. Well, you will take a shower sometimes about the shower head. Look what I'm wearing. You look, I'm not pops of colors. OK? But OK, so this is, this is a really interesting thing. So when you're shopping for a showerhead, you know, water, you know, we gotta save water. You know, there's literally just trillions of gallons of water being wasted every single year and we need to do the right thing. So this is something I want you to look for when you're shopping for a showerhead, look on the package because something all on the back. I don't know if we can get really tight here. It's called Water Sense. It's a little water drop. It's from the EPA. They identify um products like showerheads that are the most um water efficient for their category and the one that we love. Um So I have a design magazine called Rue and this is one that we picked out as our favorite from speak men, so speak men. They are literally like the, the, the epitome of the best showerheads in America for that spa like feel. So you're still gonna get that spray because you want the pressure, good pressure, water savings, inexpensive, well made, they're like the leader in hotel showerheads. And the best thing is you don't have to search online to find a weird store to find them. You can go to stores like Home Depot. That's very accessible. Ok. I also want to get to the mouthwash. Let's do the mouthwash first because you don't mouthwash. Mouthwash if you use mouthwash, don't, where do you spit it when you're done in the sink? No, but you should, I know you're like, ok, what you should do is spit it in the toilet because of the disinfecting, deodorizing. You know, the germ killing power of mouthwash. If you spit in the toilet, let it sit there, go take your shower, walk away and then flush the toilet, you're disinfecting your toilet at the same time too. Ok, for the last 30 seconds. What do we have here? Clean Beauty is a big innovation. I'm actually, I'm carrying a collection at shop HQ, which is a shopping channel. And what I want to point out there are things like NASA stem cell technology where they take plant stems into space to get better uh powers to it. There's also things with antioxidants and then 100 year old formulations from Paris and Korea Legacy brands are less. So I thank you for the and I'll be sitting in my toilet. Thank you. All right.
