The Long Island Rail Road says damages caused by a car fire on the tracks in Westbury have been completed and that regular service returned for Wednesday's evening rush.
The fire happened just after 2 a.m. on Urban Avenue and Railroad Avenue.
Chopper 12 was over the scene as crews worked to repair the damaged track. The incident caused delays for commuters in the morning and afternoon.
Everyone got out of the car OK, officials say. The MTA says the driver of the car was arrested and charged with DWI.
