Long Island Rail Road crews are working to fix a broken rail on the East End early Friday morning.
Service is partially suspended on the Montauk branch as a result of the incident that happened near East Hampton.
The suspension is from Montauk to Southampton and the MTA announced at least three train schedule changes as of now.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and we will provide updates as they become available,” the MTA said.
For the latest information, LIRR riders can check the MTA’s website and app.
