LIRR service on Port Jefferson branch to return to full service Tuesday

The Long Island Rail Road says the Port Jefferson branch will return to full service for the morning commute Tuesday.
The branch ran on a revised schedule Monday evening due to a train yard derailment.
Issues from the weekend’s blizzard contributed to five other branches being behind schedule Monday.
The Babylon, Far Rockaway, Long Beach, Montauk and West Hempstead branches returned to their normal scheduled Monday evening.
