Long Island University, the Islanders and UBS Arena are teaming up to bring a Division I hockey tournament to Elmont. It's part of a 5-year partnership between the three parties to grow hockey across Long Island and New York City. The first tournament, called the Empire State Holiday Invitational, will be played Dec. 28 and 29.
