Nassau County police say a 21-year-old Lawrence man has been charged after allegedly shooting an arrow from a crossbow that grazed a 28-year-old woman’s face.

Officers responded to a West Avenue home Friday night and found the victim bleeding from a laceration. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Suspect Samy Sedhom was arrested at the scene and is charged with attempted murder and multiple other offenses. He’s set to be arraigned Sunday in Hempstead.
