Some of Long Island's best restaurants will be part of the Las Vegas Sands proposed entertainment complex near the Nassau Coliseum if it is given the green light.
Las Vegas Sands says it has come to an agreement with places like Rao's and Polls Restaurants of Long Island, which includes Roslyn steakhouse Bryant & Cooper.
Owner Gilles Poll tells News 12 it's an opportunity he could not pass up.
"I think it's very smart to pick people that are known in the area," Poll says. "Our customers…are going to go and participate and enjoy themselves at this new project."

Nassau County recently agreed to transfer the lease of the Nassau Coliseum to Las Vegas Sands. That still needs approval from the county Legislature. If that happens, it will still need to be given the OK from New York state to build a gaming facility as part of the project.
That decision is not expected anytime soon.
