A Kings Park restaurant owner wants to feed health care staff working overnight shifts.
Mark Torkelsen, who owns Legends Bar & Grill, has been donating meals to hospital workers across Suffolk County for the past three weeks.
He says now he wants to provide food for those working during late-night hours when restaurants are closed.
He's partnering with a local cesspool company to feed night workers over the next week.
"I can see how tired they are, how worked they are, and we're just extremely grateful for what they're doing for us, so that's why Legends and Certified Cesspools want to give back," he says.
Torkelsen has a GoFundMe page to help feed the hospital workers.
