The candidates for Nassau district attorney faced off in a News 12 debate.
Democrat Todd Kaminsky and Republican challenger Anne Donnelly spoke about issues from bail reform, public corruption and their own experiences as prosecutors.
Kaminsky said that Donnelly's record of mistrials for lying to a judge in court in the People vs. Williams case is an "embarrassment."
Donnelly said the mistrial is mischaracterizing and she did not lie to the judge.
"I am proud of the promotions I received throughout my career in the DA's office," Donnelly says.
The full debate airs on News 12 at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
