Officials say a jury in Central Islip has found a former Holtsville man guilty of plotting to kidnap a politically connected attorney.
Prosecutors say Glenn Terry was angry because he felt Frank Tinari did not adequately represent him in a civil suit.
Tinari is now chairman of the Suffolk County Conservative party.
Terry is now facing up to 44 years in prison.
