Jury deliberations began Thursday in the federal corruption trial of state Sen. Dean Skelos and his son Adam.
Yesterday, the Rockville Centre state senator's defense attorneys argued Skelos did not trade any official political favors to help his son.
Prosecutors say the former senate majority leader used his political clout to get son and co-defendant Adam Skelos multiple no-show jobs.
They have both denied the charges. Their attorneys say the senator's office was never for sale.
