A judge has denied bail during the appeal process for ex-Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and his wife.
The judge also extended the surrender date for both defendants to Aug. 27.
Mangano was convicted at trial of four bribery offenses in connection with the Town of Oyster Bay loan scheme. Linda Mangano was convicted at trial of conspiracy to obstruct justice.
The court determined that the Manganos are not entitled to bail pending appeal because they have not raised substantial questions that are likely to result in reversal or an order for a new trial on all of their convictions.
