Jones Beach Brewing Company names beer after fallen 9/11 first responder

The business hosted a fundraiser in honor of FDNY firefighter Richard T. Muldowney.

A fallen first responder was honored Wednesday for his sacrifice on Sept. 11, 2001.
The Jones Beach Brewing Company hosted a fundraiser in honor of FDNY firefighter Richard T. Muldowney.
The Freeport native died in the line of duty on 9/11.
"Muldowney Irish Red" is a new beer named in his honor by the brewing company.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation to help provide new homes for families of fallen first responders.
