John Mayer latest musician tabbed to play UBS Arena in 2022

The list of big-name performers coming to Long Island's newest arena has grown even bigger.
John Mayer is bringing his "Sob Rock" tour to UBS Arena at Belmont Park on March 1, 2022. It'll be in support of his new album that came out Friday.
It's the "Last Train Home" singer's first album since 2017. Tickets for the concert date go on sale July 23.
Mayer will also be stopping at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 20, 2022.
Mayer joins The Weeknd, Genesis and Eric Church in booking dates for the nearly 19,000-seat soon-to-be home of the New York Islanders.
In a past release, officials said the arena's grand opening concert is still to be announced.
