U.S. News and World Report has listed Jericho High School as one of the best public high schools in the nation.

The school came in at 114 out of nearly 18,000 schools the publications evaluated.

The school is the island’s highest-ranking school.

Also making the list were Garden City, Manhasset secondary school and Great Neck South.

U.S. News made its decision by evaluating college readiness and graduation rates, among other criteria.
