Today is Arbor Day and it's a great time to get outside and appreciate and plant trees!

There’s plenty of ways to celebrate on Long Island.

Over at Eisenhower Park, PSEG and Nassau County are teaming up with organizations to provide 225 residents with free trees! The giveaway starts at 8 a.m.

If there are extra trees, you can get one starting at noon!

Meanwhile, the Town of Brookhaven will be holding its annual tree seedling, mulch and compost give away!

The event is happening in the South Parking Lot of Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
