A championship parade was held in Manhasset Thursday for the boys lacrosse team that won their second consecutive Class C state title.
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman was on hand to celebrate the team that went 21-1 this season.
"It's a credit to our boys out there," says Manhasset lacrosse head coach Keith Cromwell. "It's so nice to have our community come out. Our elected officials. Our parents. Our administration at the school here. The support they've given us has allowed to be successful, and without their help who knows where we'd be."
Manhasset lacrosse player Cal Girard says the team will go down as one of the best in Manhasset history.
