TSN's Darren Dreger reports the Islanders have locked up stud defenseman Ryan Pulock to an eight-year extension.

The deal is believed to be worth just under $50 million, Dreger says.

The first five years of the deal include a no-trade clause and the last three years have a limited no-trade clause, according to Dreger.
