Islandia woman turns 106, offers secret to long life

She was born in 1918, the same year Woodrow Wilson served as president of the United States.

The staff at the Arbors Assisted Living Communities in Islandia held a special birthday for resident Betty Negro.

"I turned 106 years old today," says Negro.

She was born in 1918, the same year Woodrow Wilson served as president of the United States.

"She's a big flirt and she is a funny lady," added staff member, Stacy Conroy.

Negro says her secret to a long life is," Drink lots of Italian wine, have good friends and eat great food."
