Competing proposals by the Islanders and New York City Football Club for Belmont Park were released for the first time on Sunday.
The development group for the Islanders say its plans include a multipurpose event center, retail space, 250-room hotel, community space, and a job and computer skills training site.
The group for the NYCFC, an American professional soccer club based in New York City, says its plans include a 26,000-seat stadium, a pedestrian bridge, retail space, a community park, and a space for a community soccer program.
The state will ultimately determine the winning bid. However, the public can continue to email questions and comments to state officials until 6 p.m.
