The Islanders have announced that captain and leading scorer Anders Lee is done for the season.
Lee is slated to undergo surgery this week and will miss the rest of the season, according to team president and general manager Lou Lamoriello.
The Isles said last week that the 30-year-old would be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.
Lee left the Islanders' March 11 game against the Devils early due to an injury.
