An Island Park home has been transformed into the Bates Motel with lots of familiar and scary faces.
Chucky, Freddy and Michael Myers are all on display at the Amoruso residence on Traymore Avenue.
Frank Amoruso says he made most of the creatures by hand.
He says he started the scary scene in 1995, adding a new statue every year until Superstorm Sandy.
Amoruso says Sandy wiped him out, so he didn’t have anything out for around four years.
“Then I went to Home Depot, and I talked to the manager with some certificates for breast cancer awareness - and he donated wood to build these guys,” Amoruso says.
He asks anyone who drops by to offer a donation for breast cancer awareness.
